I did this drawing almost 10 years ago. It was my first attempt to use Photoshop to paint a drawing. I hope you like it.

Superman team-up

Este es el último dibujo de Superman que he hecho en un comic book art board de 11 por 17 pulgadas. Está hecho con lápiz y lapiceras técnicas Rotring. Este dibujo es muy especial para mí porque es mi primer intento serio de abordar el nuevo traje de Superman. 

This is the last Superman drawing I did in an 11X17 comicbook art board. It was done with pencil and then inked with radiograph rotring pens. For me it is a very special drawing, since it is my first attempt at the new Superman Costume.

Además, para crear el edificio del Daily Planet me basé en un rascacielos muy famoso de Buenos Aires que me gusta mucho. Se llama Kavanagh y es una torre de departamentos situada frente a la Plaza San Martín, en el barrio de Retiro. Fue Inaugurado el 3 de enero de 1936 y con sus 120 m. fue en su momento el edificio de hormigón armado más alto de Sudamérica.

Also, I used as a model for the Daily Planet Building, one tower that is located in the Retiro neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The building is called the Kavanagh and it was opened on january 3 of 1936. Back then, It was the tallest building in Sudamerica.

Por otra parte este dibujo es una especie de “team up” ya que entre los graffitis podemos ver a Bart Simpson. Les dejo la versión en lápiz y la versión final.

In the other hand, this drawing is some kind of team up, since you can see Bart Simpson in the “street art” that is painted in the wall. I uploaded the pencil drawing and the final version. I hope you like them.  

Indiana Jones is back!

I did this drawing for my class "Sequential Art" at the St. Edward´s University. It tells the story of a fan who dresses as Indy to go to the theater to watch the movie, and when he arrives, the tickets are sold out. I took my inspiration from the best scene of "Raiders of the lost ark". I hope you like it.

Hice este dibujo para una clase de "Sequential Art" que tomé en la St. Edwards University, en Austin, Texas. Cuenta la historia de un fan de Indy que se viste como él para ver el estreno del filme y cuando llega al cine, todas las entradas están vendidas. Está basada en la escena más famosa de "Los Cazadores del Arca Perdida". Espero les guste.

I Wonder….

This is my last drawing. It was done this weekend. It is my first attempt at Wonder Woman.

This is a drawing I did for the birthday of one of my students.

It was done in a profesional comic art board (11"x17"), first with pencils and then with Rotring thecnical pens. They are old, but I love the feeling they give to the drawing.

My inspiration came from the great Phil Gimenez.

Este es el último dibujo que hice (fue realizado este fin de semana) y mi primer intento serio de retratar a Wonder Woman.

En realidad, este es un trabajo que hice para una de mis estudiantes que cumple años y me había pedido algo así como regalo.

Está hecho en una hoja profesional de comics de 11 por 17 pulgadas (algo así como 28 por 44 cm.), primero con lápiz y después con las lapiceras técnicas Rotring. Son antiguas pero funcionan a la perfección.

Mi inspiración vino del genial Phil Giménez.
