My Avengers

Este es un pequeño sketch que hice mientras trabajaba en otro proyecto. No soy un gran fan de Los Vengadores, pero me gustó como quedó. Espero que a ustedes también.

My Wedding Card - Mi tarjeta de Casamiento

Hice este dibujo para mi tarjeta de casamiento. Por supuesto que es un homenaje a la tapa de Superman: The Wedding Album, realizada por John Byrne. Abajo les dejo una muestra de cómo quedó la tarjeta. Espero que les guste.

I did this drawing for my wedding card. Of course it is a homage to the cover of Superman: The Wedding Album which was pencilled by John Byrne. In the bottom you will find the actual card. I hope you like it.

Secret Origins - Origenes Secretos

This is the last Superman drawing I did. I try to tell the story of the new 52 Superman´s origin in only four panels.  It was done in a comic book art board of 11X17 inches. I hope you like it.

Este es el último dibujo que hice. Trato de contar la historia de Superman (del New 52) en sólo cuatro viñetas. Fue hecho en una hoja de comic profesional de 11 por 17 pulgadas. Espero que les guste.

En la San Luis Comic Con - In the San Luis Comic Con

Estas son algunas imágenes de mi participación en la primera Convención Internacional de Comics de San Luis. Allí dicté un "Taller Creativo de Comic", espero que quienes asistieron la hayan pasado bien.


These are some images of my dissertation at the San Luis Comic Con. I gave a speech about "Creating Comics". I hope the people who attended liked it.

My first paid job - Mi primer trabajo rentado

Esto sucedió hace muchos, muchos años. Yo había colgado un humilde dibujo en la Superman
homepage, y un día recibí un e-mail. Era de dos actores de Los Angeles que querían hacerle un regalo especial a un productor que les había dado trabajo. Su idea: regalarle un comic en el que él fuera el superhéroe protagonista.
Ellos habían visto mi dibujo, les había gustado y ofrecían pagarme por crear el comic. Yo estaba justo de vacaciones fuera de mi ciudad, pero acepté el desafío y gracias a la ayuda de mi amigo, el diseñador Ariel Doldán, pude completar mi primer trabajo rentado.
Estas son las dos páginas que pude rescatar buceando en las aguas del tiempo. Espero las disfruten tanto como yo disfruté haciéndolas.

This story happened years ago. I posted a drawing in the Superman homepage, and one day I received an email. It was from two young actors. They wanted to thank a producer for giving them a job. So they decided to gave him a special gift: a comic in which he was the superhero. 

They offered me the job of doing the comic. I penciled and inked the pages, and my friend, the graphic designer, Ariel Doldan did the colors.

I found these two pages "swimming in the waters of time", I hope you enjoy them, as much as I enjoyed doing them.
