Classic Superman

Hice este dibujo hace ya varios años, pero fue enviado a la revista especializada Wizard, de Estados Unidos y fue elegido, por lo que gané un premio y una "critica" de los maestros Adam y Andy Kubert. Espero que lo disfruten.

I did this drawing a long time ago, and it won a prize in the magazine Wizard and the master storytellers, Andy and Adam Kubert gave me some advice. I hope you like it.

El sexto capítulo de mi comic que fue publicado por el diario de la St. Edwards University, en Austin, Texas. Pienso que acá es cuando empecé a agarrarle un poco la mano al dibujo y al guión, ya que el ejercicio y la práctica me ayudaron a aumentar la velocidad requerida para cumplir con los plazos de publicación que tenía. Espero que les guste.

This is the sixth chapter of my comic book. It was published in the Hilltop Views, the newspaper of the St. Edward´s University, Austin, Texas. I think this is when I started to learn more about making scripts and drawing. I hope you enjoy it.

Cerca, Rosario siempre estuvo cerca

Este no es un blog de fotos, pero para todos aquellos que me pedían imágenes de la Crack Bang Boom (Jorge, te hablo a vos), acá está el encuentro de seis grandes:

Crack Bang Boom, the biggest comic book convention of Argentina took place on june in Rosario. In this picture you can see some of the special guest of the convention: C.B. Cebulski (editor of Marvel Comics), the artist José Villarubia, the amazing Frank Quitely (creator of ALL STAR SUPERMAN), your kindly neigborhood (myself and I wasn´t one of the guests, of course), Eduardo Risso (the incredible Argentinean artist of 100 BULLETS) and the legendary Enrique Breccia.

Superman returns

Hice este dibujo hace ya un tiempo. Creo que tiene influencias del gran dibujante de Superman de los 90s, John Bogdanove, y de mi admirado Jim Lee.

I did this drawing a log time ago. It has influences from the great Superman penciler of the 90s, John Bogdanove and the amazing Jim Lee.

Estaba pensando que ya que el 3D está de vuelta con toda la fuerza, podría hacer un dibujo con esta técnica. Entonces hice al David en dos versiones: 2D y 3D. Si tienen por ahí algún lente de los viejos en 3D, pónganselos y disfruten.

I was thinking that 3D is back in full force, so I did this David drawing in two versions: 2D and 3D. If you have old 3D glasses, just put them on and enjoy.

I did this drawing some years ago. I liked the contrast between shadows and light. I hope you like it!
